Dr. Michael Banh

Dr. Banh obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Toronto.  He has been practising general dentistry in Uxbridge since completing his dental degree.  Licenced with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Dr. Banh enjoys all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in periodontal and implant surgery.  Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Banh is constantly upgrading his skills at continuing education courses to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date and predictable dental treatments available.

Dr. Banh is dedicated to giving back to the Uxbridge community, supporting several local organizations and events including: The Uxbridge Public Library, The Uxbridge Half Marathon, The Uxbridge Rotary Club, The Uxbridge Skating Club, The Uxbridge Music Scholarship Trust, Uxbridge Fall Fair, The United Way Durham Region, and The Lucy Maud Montgomery Society of Ontario.

His commitment to helping others goes beyond the borders of Uxbridge, Ontario.  Dr. Banh has been involved in two medical/dental missions to Ghana, Africa where he provided free dental care for the local population.  He recently became a member of The Uxbridge Rotary Club, enabling him to become more involved in the community and abroad.

In his free time, Dr. Banh enjoys reading, running, golfing, and watching movies. 

Arlene

When you call our office, you will likely be greeted by the friendly voice of our Office Manager, Arlene.  For over 20 years, Arlene has been answering our phones, booking your appointments, and billing your insurance.  She is eager to assist you with any financial concerns and administrative questions you may have regarding your dental treatment.  In 2009, Arlene assisted Dr. Banh on the medical/dental mission in Ghana, Africa.  In her spare time, Arlene enjoys painting, stain glass, kayaking, and spending time with her family.

Christine

A lifetime resident of Uxbridge, Christine joined the Uxbridge Family Dentistry team in 1992.  She attended the University of Western Ontario for her undergraduate education and then pursued the Dental Hygiene Program at U of T.  She provides dental hygiene care at our office on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Diana

Diana is a CDA Level II and has been with us at Uxbridge Family Dentistry since 2006.  She really enjoys interacting with patients of all ages, making sure you feel relaxed and comfortable.  A mother of two adorable children, Diana understands the finer points of working with kids.  She is able to convert some of our most nervous kids (and adults!) into our biggest fans, eager to return to their next appointment.

Jan

Jan has been working as a hygienist with Uxbridge Family Dentistry since 1993.  Married and always on the go with four children, Jan loves to come to work part-time for a break!  In her spare time, she enjoys music, reading, sports and driving her kids around to their activities.  She is actively involved with the children’s ministries at her church in Uxbridge.

Kellie

Kellie is a Durham College graduate and has over 3 years of experience in the dental field.  As a Dental Hygienist, she is devoted to continuing her education and keeping up with current trends to help better serve her patients.  Kellie's genuine concern for her patients' well-being and oral health, helps to make dental visits more pleasant and comfortable.  Her hobbies include yoga, reading, walking her dog and spending time with family and friends.

Nancy

Nancy completed her training as a Dental Hygienist at Canadore College and has been a member of our team for almost 16 years.  Nancy volunteered her hygiene skills as part of the medical/dental mission that went to Ghana, Africa in 2009, alongside Arlene and Dr. Banh.  She spends her free time with her husband and three kids at the cottage.
