Crowns
This patient had moderately worn anterior teeth. We restored the front two teeth with porcelain crowns (courtesy of DC Dental Labs) and recontoured the two lateral teeth to make the smile more harmonious.

Frenectomy
When the frenum is too tight on a patient, it can pull too much between the two front teeth (as seen in this patient). A simple gum procedure called a frenectomy is performed to reduce the tissue tension on the gums and to move the attachment higher up, above the teeth, for an improved esthetic result.

Gum Graft
In certain situations, gum recession can be corrected by a minor gum procedure called a gum graft. Once healing is complete, the exposed roots are covered by the patients own tissues.
